Enough with the plural apostrophe already!
To the folks:
When you are adding an "s" to a word to make it plural, you do not - repeat: do not - use an apostrophe! This is the possessive form! For the love of Strunk, y'all, this is basic stuff, and I see it everywhere. I just saw it on a prominent liberal blog, in the headline of a post. Earlier this week I saw it in the address on an envelope containing a letter of reference to a prominent institution. At least that letter will probably be opened by a front office intern that doesn't know any better.
Your (not you're) assignment for the week ahead: go get a copy of Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss, along with the fourth edition of Elements of Style, and READ.
